In early 2020, amidst the challenges posed by a global pandemic, we recognized the urgent need for protective masks. Today, after almost 4 years of serving our community, we have exciting news to share. VIDA will be joining hands with MI Technologies, one of the leading US-based manufacturers of high-quality personal protective equipment under Sante Group, a new company that includes  VIDA team members. Together, we will continue to innovate, provide better protection, comfort, and sustainability, and help our customers stay safe and healthy.

VIDA’s new ownership

Will anything change for your customers with this ownership change?

Nothing will change other than our improved ability to offer you new products in the future in addition to our current assortment. VIDA will remain privately owned and will continue to provide our products through shopvida.com

Our new ownership is dedicated to delivering the highest quality, well-designed, and comfortable masks, prioritizing the need to take care of our planet through offering sustainable materials and our unique VIDA recycling program. 

Is VIDA under different management?

Yes, VIDA will be under new management, but our business will continue as you have been used to in the last 3.5 years. Our brand and business will remain the same, and we will continue to deliver the same high level of services as we have done in the past.

Order and Shipping

Is there a change in placing a new order?

There will be no changes in placing an order. You can continue to place your orders through www.shopvida.com.

What will happen to my mask subscription?

Nothing will change with your mask subscription. You get to keep the same masks or add or replace them with any new products we will offer in the future. You will find this link helpful in case you would like to make any changes to your subscription(s): How to modify your mask subscription? 

What will happen to my order history?

If you stay subscribed to our marketing emails, we keep a record of your order history, which is shown on your VIDA account under the email address used to place the order.

Please note that if you are currently not subscribed or you choose to unsubscribe from our marketing emails following the change of ownership, we will remove all your details and your order history before the transition to the new ownership.

Will there be a change in pricing with the products I used to buy?

None. You can buy VIDA products for the same price. We continue to offer FREE SHIPPING for our Mask Subscriptions. 

Will there be a change in the products you sell?

VIDA will continue to sell the masks and respirators currently offered at shopvida.com.

Our partner, MI Technologies, is one of the US-based manufacturers of high-quality personal protective equipment. Thus, expect more new quality masks and mask-related products soon. 

Rewards & Affiliate

Will there be an affiliate program with the new owner?

If you are a registered affiliate on the Pepperjam platform and are interested in becoming a VIDA affiliate, please let us know and contact us at [e-mail] to be added to our program. 

Will the reward points be back with the new management?

Our previous rewards system was tied with the On-Demand Studio items and was discontinued when we transitioned to health and wellness products. 

With the new management, a final decision on bringing back the rewards system has yet to be made.

Can you tell me more about MI Technologies? 

Where is MI Technologies located?

MI Technologies, Inc. is a privately owned corporation headquartered in San Diego, California.

It specializes in managing a multi-million dollar network of manufacturers, distributors, and retailers, catering to the global market and supplying products worldwide.  

Why MI Technologies?

MI Technologies serves both the domestic and international markets for consumer electronics and parts distribution. In the early days of the pandemic, the ownership of MI Technologies jumped in to help solve the urgent need for high-protection masks by investing in production capacity to produce masks locally in the US. Over the past years, MI has further invested in expanding and improving its technology and materials to offer the highest protection in masks and respirators for personal and professional use. 

Who manufactures your products, and what makes them reliable?

Our masks are manufactured by Breathh, Inc., a full subsidiary of MI Technologies, with FDA Registration No. 3017171515. The manufacturing facility is ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485 for Medical Devices compliant and is certified to produce medical masks. The ISO certification stands for the highest level of quality control for production, packaging, and logistics to ensure each item can meet the medical standards for masks and respirators.

Mask Types & Testing

Within the manufacturing facility, the same high-performing filtration materials are used to produce different types of masks. The factory produces masks for different brands, VIDA being one of them. The masks have undergone ASTM Level 3 Barrier (international standard) testing for flammability and synthetic blood penetration resistance, clearing at Class 1 and ASTM Level 3 standards, respectively.

The manufacturing facility produces a wide range of masks. The different types of masks are named by their internal product codes, known as the M9-series. These masks are sold by VIDA under the VIDA brand in our colors, different styles (KN95, 3D, and 4-ply), sizes, and packaging. The M9- series are known at VIDA as our masks with KN95 protection. Thorough testing is done on all the masks to ensure filtration performance, breathability, fluid resistance, differential pressure, and flame resistance. The test reports refer to the internal product codes of the manufacturer, being the parent item of the branded masks produced for our customers.
