Your reusable protective masks can be safely machine washed and dried (warm, gentle cycles). We recommend washing your mask as soon as you receive it and every time after wearing it out. The CDC guides you to "be careful not to touch your eyes, nose, and mouth when removing your face covering and wash hands immediately after removing".

Be sure to remove your filter before washing. Filters are not washable and should be replaced every 7 days. The filter can face either way in the mask and remain effective. Make sure our mask fits snugly by adjusting the ear loops and the integrated metal nosepiece.

For our disposable masks, we recommend that you keep them dry and be careful not to let them get damaged or bent. If you are reusing your mask a second time, you should store it safely in a plastic Ziploc.

We advise that you do not get your mask wet as the mask's filter efficiency decreases if it is dampened. If it does become wet, let the mask dry fully and wear a new one in the meantime. You can still use the dried mask, but since it was previously dampened its filter efficiency will not be as good as a new mask.
